Local Customs & Disguises Professor Roger Ashbauch Lesson 4Roger stepped into the classroom and looked around at the class. Today, we will be talking about something that everyone has, even those who say they don't. That thing is religion. As a spy, you will need to be aware of many religious beliefs that are not your own, and possibly convince people that you have been raised your entire life in one religion. For this lesson I want you to research a religion that you are not a part of. Answer the following questions in essay form. Tomorrow, I want you to come to class wearing an outfit appropriate for a religious function in that religion and be prepared to discuss the important features of that outfit. Questions to Answer1. Religion: Number of Believers: Central Location: (if applicable) Number of Deities: 2. Describe the basic beliefs of this religion in the terms of the view of the universe and deities. 3. Describe the views of this religion on women, homosexuality, abortion, and birth control. 4. What are the major people, holy books, or holidays in this religion? 5. What are you wearing to tomorrow's class and why? (Dolling or drawing is optional for extra credit.)
