Since I am very disappointed in all of my students (j/k, it's confusing), I am offering a few hints here to solving these problems. However, the good old-fashioned way is always preferred to shotcuts because one day you will have to do it for real, with no outside help. Ceasar Ciphers: Try the following link: www.thetravis.com/code/ceasarshift.php. Type in text, like your name, and it will do all of the ceasar ciphers possible. If you don't understand how these ciphers work, this might help you learn. Just make sure you understand how it works. If you still don't understand, type in the entire alphabet and submit. ROT 1 shifts by 1 letter. Try it and reply or PM me if you still have questions. Vigenere Ciphers: For quick work: sharkysoft.com/misc/vigenere/Try wikipedia and be sure to use the links at the bottom of wikipedia

She turned in the paper with the alphabets on the page. "Is that what you wanted..?"

Amanda looked slightly confused. Did I assign more homework?
Then she looks over the paper. "Do you see what happened to the alphabet? That is ROT1 and the alphabet was moved over 1 letter. ROT2 shifts it over by 2 letters."
I knew I should have taken that job at the school for mathematic geniuses.

Writes down on paper then shows it to headmistress. "ROT3: WKLV LV LW?" is written down on the paper. This is too easy.

She lightly sighed, she knew she'd end up repeating this class, probally more than once at that.
