Ai looked at MeiMei and looked away again while muttering " Childish" but there was a slight blush on her face.

"Nu uh~" she giggled. She blinked, looking at the new girl. "Sweetie, did I scare you?"

Brig grinned. "No, don't worry. And yeah, I'm sure classes'll be fine." She sighed good naturedly. "I have NO idea why I came here. I've never done anything like this before. I needed something new to learn, to do." She looked from one girl to the next. "So, tell me something about yourselves." She smiled in a way she hoped was invitingly. She needed friends in this school. She imagined it would be very hard if she were hated and ostracized, as she had been at the last school she was at. She led the way down the hall toward the common area with the comfy, squashy armchairs and sofas in it.

Ai said in monotone " I like it here." then she became silent. Her eyes growing dark then went back to normal. She did not continue what she was going to say next. She waited for MeiMei's usually excited introduction.

"I'm MeiMei, and I suppose the eaisest way to say it is i'm a ninja. Papa sent me here and I think its loads of fun!"

She could see in Ai's eyes that she didn't want to talk about herself. So she didn't mention the girl's sudden silence, but smiled receptively at her;she seemed nice. Brig was very skeptic about the girl called 'MeiMei''s remark, though; she'd never met a ninja, and didn't really believe they still existed - at least in their natural form. But she kept that to herself. "Wow. Really? That's cool. So all of this stuff comes easy to you. I thought that ninjas were like spies already?"

At this Ai turned her head and looked at Brig. She wondered what would MeiMei say to that.

"Well I'm not so good with the quiet part and the stealth things half the time.." She crossed her eyes and glanced down with a slight embarassment.

Brig smiled. "Neither am I. I break things all the time. One time I actually sat on my Flute! Thing bent in half. Saddest thing ever. I needed a new one. But seriously. I am SO clumsy." She continued, "so what's this about toxicology? That was the main reason I came to this school. The brochure said that they'd be offering the class, but when I got her they said that the teacher's been unable to start lessons, or they haven't found a teacher or something like that. What's going on with that?"

" Many classes are still on standby guess we have to wait patiently." Ai said.

Ai stared at MeiMei. Then she blinked. Slowly she went through what MeiMei said again. When she replayed it again she sighed. Typical MeiMei. " Yes." She replied.

"Wow, that rots dung." Brig said sadly. "I guess I'll have to see how I do in other classes, then. What do you guys do for fun?" She grabbed her leg and pulled it tight behind her back, a distictly awkward position, and groaned. "That's better." She sighed. "And where are all the other students?"

" I don't know about the others but for me I train for fun." Ai said softly.

"Oh, yeah?" Brig said. "What do you do to stay trained and fit? I haven't checked out the training area yet. Do you ever train with others? Would you want to work out with me sometime? I try to practice martial arts and work out every morning at 5, and I run at four, if you're interested. Just let me know." She knew the girl would probably say no - most did. Most people probably didn't get up early, and she could understand people who prefer to work out alone. But it couldn't hurt to ask.
